Why do these things happen to me?

Meet hot chick on internet. We exchange pics. She's gorgeous. She writes me several long-winded emails. Says she 'so wants to talk to me'. I give her my phone number and she disappears. I never hear from her again.

This was o.k. because I kind of liked a girl at work anyway. So I work up the balls to ask her out, she says yes but she means no, says it has to do with her working in HR, so we can't really be alone. So I don't know if it's a lame excuse or not. So I've decided to just leave it alone.

So, girls are a problem. Well, that's if you don't count my buddies wives, who seem to love me. My one buddy broke up with his wife about 6 months ago, and now she wants me to take her to a wedding. "Just as friends, no strings attached, but we can't tell him". She's attractive enough but my loyalty is to my buddy. So I said no.

It seems like any girl that I am attracted to, or that is attracted to me, I just can't have. This is really starting to suck. Makes me want to hit up a big cycle of test and fina, but I know that's not the answer.

I doubt it was a guy, but maybe not her real pictures. In any case, she said she 'so wanted to talk to me' but didn't leave her number. So I gave her mine and haven't heard from her since. She doesn't even visit the site anymore. I'm figuring she got back with her boyfriend or something.

What also pisses me off is that this same buddy wanted to call up my ex gf and ask her out. At least he had the decency to ask me first. Of course I said I'd kill him if he did. He said he wouldn't care if I dated his ex-wife.

You should invite your friend's g/f to the wedding, say you will meet her there, and then show up with him. It will leave them all confused. Perhaps you can find a hot chick at the wedding.
