why do people use steroids

hey guys I am new to this website and I am doing a research paper on steroid use and I just wanted to see if I could get some feedback on why people decide to take steroids and if they even know the dangers to it and what it can do to your body?

The question is do YOU know what the dangers are and what they can do to your body....

or do you just think you know because of everything you have heard?


Trust me, just as most things... if used properly, the side effects of using steroids are not NEARLY as negative as pushed by the media and society today.

The people here on this board that do use, know exactly what the pro's and con's are associated with steroid use. The only times that you really hear about people suffering from extreme side effects is when they are uneducated in how to properly cycle, and they abuse them. Its that simple.

Through education the people here have learned something you haven't. Not to buy into hysteria put forth by media and government about steroids and the supposed dangers. You're out of touch. You need to start over and spend a couple months reading here. Then try your quesion again when you know what you're talking about.

if you ask me the people (males) who are in danger are the ones that don't use it.. especially when you reach your 40s and 50s when your body stops making test.. thats like nature's way of sayin "ok you did your time here.. go die!".. im not saying it prolongs your life but it will defenetly give you a better one for those years after the age of 50
