Why do people try to talk

Like gangsters and such? I see a few people on this board and others I am at that are white or mexican or something else, and they talk like a bunch of wannabe gangsters. Example: What up nigga, or A nigga like me etc. Sorry to use the N word, but I just don't get it. Are these simply people that are intellectually inferior or have some kind of strange issues mentally?

Sure it is the internet, but I think that the people that talk this way are actually talking this way in real life. Think about it, its one this to say it once on a post to goof around. But I see people that type this way all of the time and then they post their picture and they are white or hispanic etc. I don't get it.
