why boil gear?

I have heard people say that it is a good idea to boil bottles of steroids to see if it is "dirty"? Could someone explain this process to me and what is the purpose of it?

ive searched every article i could find on this recently. Boiling gear is supposed to help cut down on the Benzyl alcohol (BA). Also you can bake it, some say it works, some say it doesnt. Pretty much the reason for doing this is to stop having painful injections.
The way to do it is to put a needle through the rubber stopper and into the free air in the top of the bottle for ventilation. Then boil water, hold the bottle in the boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes. Ive also heard of baking for 45 minutes at 250 degrees. I personally just tried it and didnt think much of it, now im just cutting my stuff with injection oil to kill the pain.

Agreed, except the boiling point of BA is much higher then the boiling point of water. (unlike other alcohols). So boiling doesn't work for lowering it. Boiling does work for sterilizing gear that may have been exposed to the air, as would happen during rebottling.

Also,the components of oils are usually the inert oil, the hormone powder, BA , and I can't remember the fourth thing.

I thought one was a perservative (the BA?) and the other helps with making the hormone soluable in the oil. So baking that out may cause the test(powder) to precipitate.

BA is very toxic. But it is in very minute doses in oils.

Anyone know more about this?

i dont want to sound like a dick or anything, but what the fuck. how painful can your injections be? where are you jabbing yourself to actually make it that miserable that you want to find ways to lessen the pain? ive done 3cc of test enanthate, 3cc of test cypionate, and 3cc of sustanon on different occaisons to my thigh and butt and the only thing that bothered me was the lump i had for almost a week. dont think this is a post trying to flame or anything, but i am honestly interested in why your injections are so uncomfortable.

Not to ease the pain but to sterelyze the solution........kill any bacteria that could have left during the proccess, highly recomended when using UG gear...

If your juise is real theres know need to boil it , maybe Propionate that shit is a painful

You need to be careful boiling gear you can change the structure of the gear you get and it may even effect how it reacts in your body.

this must be a new trend i guess.never heard of boiling juice.ive heard of some heating it.... ive takin 18g 2cc of sust and walked it off in a few days.i feal the pain is there for a reminder to lift harded and stay disipline.... not to jest just me

thanks guys for all the input, but i think that i am going to stay away from the boiling of the gear!
