Why are seals teeth black?

I'm sure that starfish and that other girl will be in here to tell you in

They're black? The seal pup that sat down & stared at me underwater at 40 ft. off Monterey Bay had a very nice sharp set of white teeth. Basically looked like a dog's face.

Their teeth are weakly rooted and relatively small compared to those of harbor seals making them appear dark in color. Normally there are 34 teeth composed of three upper and two lower incisors, one upper and lower canine, four upper and lower postcanines, and one upper and lower molar on each side.

Everyone I have seen was black (Sea World). Or maybe I am thinking sea lions. Whatever. The little tricksters that clap their flippers for fish.

maybe they have been doing meth? It rots the teeth like that.
