Why are ppl jag off's?

Not really a question but WTF?
Me and my pregnant wife were at the mall today, just doing a little shopping for our soon to be baby girl, and these 2 little punk bastards bump into my wife on purpose, now we were in a big open space these fuckers didn't have to do that, my wife is 7 months pregnant, so anyways I turned a kinda loud said what the fuck is your problem, the one punk said go do another steroid, that's when I lost it I smacked the one kid maybe early 20's in the mouth not really that hard but I knocked him on his ass, and he didn't jump up, I turned to his buddy who ran like a bitch and grabbed security, anyways to make a long story short, there was an off duty cop who backed me they just took my info and let me go.
The point is if they just did that to me I would have let it ride, but to my wife carring my baby, I really wanted to kill that prick, why are ppl like that?

man do i feel you, you read my "would you beat this guys ass" thread, same thing a punk neighbor yelling at my girl at night, a real prick fuck. i didn't put a beat down cause she wouldn't let me, but in your shoes i'd of fucked that trick up bad. ppl are fuckin assholes for the most part man, its the ones that are not that you have to have faith in. for every fucking asshole like this punk there is some single mother raising a kids or a fireman that will give his life for you, the examples are endless on both spectrums but just remember there are good people. i would be angry too, and come on here and vent as i did two weeks ago. just make sure you don't do any permanent damage to fucks like that. your gonna encounter them all the time

Man, I know bruce410 was running into issues with his neighbor and he was able to keep his cool, which by the way I commend him for . However, in your situation this is different. If the action was towards you it would be different altogether. Like when Bruce stated the neighbor got all up in his girls face. I’m sure Bruce was standing there waiting for that f*cking idiot to touch her. And if he would have done something once that happened I would back that up 110%.
So just like in your case, if it has to do with your wife/girlfriend/love one and especially since she is pregnant, you did the right thing.
I think you are very lucky that you had someone (cop) to back you up, because that could have gotten ugly for you fast.
As for the people who started this mess, the punks, if you will, they got what was coming to them.
Three things that I was taught early on were:

1) Never and I mean never, mess with another mans children
2) Never mess with another mans woman
3) Never mess with another mans money
4) Never mess with another mans beer

See I personally think that most people/assholes think that A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.

This is my wife quote since we have had a child "I've got a good man. He takes care of me. I don't have to be scared of anything because I know he will kick every ass... disrespect him and you've got a problem.” But I dont, just dont mess with my family.

And people, who disrespect other people, haven't yet learned how to respect themselves
