Who's good in fixing computers??... REFORMATTING HARDRIVE

Okay to format a pc, all you have to do is hold the power button while pressiing F11.
But how about when you have an apple laptop?? I couldn't use my laptop anymore because I forgot my password and the only way to use it again is to log in.

Holding down F11 when you power on only works if you have a ghosted drive on a PC, most pc's you could hold down f11 till you are blue in the face and it won't do anything.
