Who takes Finasteride (Proscar) while on for prostate health/protection?

Has it reduced/prevented/reversed prostate enlargement?

I've taken avodart, which is stronger than proscar.

I'll never take it again, because it makes my skin more oily (proscar does too),
and my sex drive plummets. Fuck, i'd almost rather have prostate cancer
and a bald ass head than have to deal with a non functioning dick.

The odd thing is, that everyone seems to think that proscar and avodart can help acne because they stop the conversion to DHT (which everyone thinks is the cause of acne). If you just search for "proscar acne" on google groups, there are a TON of people reporting the same thing - more acne and more acne with proscar and avodart! I normally don't have a problem with acne, and I don't need to ever deal with it.

I have a very minor case of BHP and I take 1.25mg finasteride for it ED. When I'm on a test cycle, I double that dose and still my BHP doesn't flair up. Hope this helps.
