Who remembers Evil Knievel?

I just watched a special on him and he is a trip.. He is 69 years old and married a 24 year old last year.. I remember watching him trying to jump the grand canyon...

I was just checking out the Harley he used to do the jumps and man does it look ancient and outdated.. There was no suspension and the travel in the suspension was only 3 inches and it was heavy, I dont see how he did it.

I remember goin to the movies as a kid with my older brother to see a movie made by the guy. Good Lord, it MUST have been awful, but because I used to play with my older brother growing up I thought Evil Knievil was THE BOMB. LOL

And good for him if he can still get his groove on at that age with all the punishment he put his body through.

He was a hero of my youth.
His son Robby is smarter and better. He learned from his old man's mistakes - i.e. don't drink a fifth of Jack and try to jump shit on a Harley - LOL.
