I've heard that one before. It is strange that no one's been there since 72.
I saw a few sites that found interesting anomalies, scrutinizing lunar mission pics.
I don't really have an option though...

It is said that the Van Allen belt, which traps ionized particles by their magnetic field, contain so much radiation that it is impossible for a human to survive crossing them. A rocket or ship of the state of the art is too light to block that radiation. Obviously, the moon is outside the Van Allen belt.
