who here can't rollar skate?

I was a skating fanatic when I was younger. Grew up on skates. I now have a pair of Sketcher Gym Shoe Skates and they are so fun. Im not so good on blades, so the skates are a nice alternative. Great workout if you can go far enough. I once went 10 miles on my skates.
 
I used to be so into skating, I bought a pair of $400 inline speed skates. I would go skating every tuesday and sunday night. I started skating outside as I was interested in racing but then drugs took over and that was that. I still have the skates and would like to eventually get back on them but that won't happen until my knees are fixed. Hopefully that day will come
 
How can you not be able to? It's retardedly easy, same thing with ice skates. I learned how to ice skate about 6 years ago. I had never ice skated before that day and as soon as I hit the ice I was flying around the rink. Honestly, I couldn't believe how easy it was. I was nervous before going because you always see on TV all those losers trying to learn and constantly falling.
By the end of the day I was doing hockey stops. The kind of stop where you skate real fast and then turn your body to the side and place each skate next to each other then spray all the ice shaving on your friend.
 
I suck at it. I run into little kids. I can't ski either. It's funny, cause I'm very athletic and fast on my feet but I just can't get that movement down.

im ok on skates,better on blades,but skates are alot more fun.

what i think is cool is going to the roller rink and seeing these old guys who can just move on those fuckers,its that roller disco stuff ,its nuts,i love it
 
I roller skated in H.S.
Roller bladed for exercise a few years back, but my knees can't handle the motion too well.
 
I also used to blade a lot until I almost got run over by a corvette coming out of a local golf course. I switched to mountain biking after that.

It has been a while since I put a pair of skates on and did the limbo. I can remember it being fun. Although I would be a little scared to bo it these days cause I could break a hip.
 
Speaking of rollerskating...remember "Roller Girl" from Boogie Fever? A girl who roller skates in short shorts and fucks at the same time cant be all bad...LOL! ;)
 
Guys and roller skating not very manly. Please tell me you don't have tassels coming off your skates............lol I just cant see myself roller skating around to Madonna "like a virgin". Leave the roller skating to the women

was never any good as a kid... i should try it again though... i'm sure i could do better now...

i was one of those push with the stoppers types... :D
 
I used play hockey then roller hockey and i have to agree with the Bowtech as far as the roller skates go but i don't think rollerblades count?
