white deposits under nails???

just wondering what it is a person is lacking if they have those white deposits under their fingernails? Ive noticed i have started to get this. Seems to me it is from a deficiency of zinc, but not 100% positive

i rarely get stressed at all, i deal with stuff rather well, not much going on to get stressed about to be honest with ya.

It's my understanding that white spots on the nails are actually a separation of the nail from the nail bed underneath (ie skin, flesh, finger, whatever). The white spot is the separation area.

its just white dots or vague lines under the nail itself, i seem to have some, although not a bad case

well according to naturopaths it is a zinc deficiency but usually one brought about by sugar consumption
