I don't think blacks get pissed...but I do think they get pissed when films featuring blacks don't do well at the box office, even if they are excelllent.

And black stars have to co-star with a big white or asian start all the time in order to get top box office numbers.

Perhaps the exceptions prove the rule? I wasn't adamant about this subject...things are changing as we write. What was true last year and the year before may no longer be true. I simply stated that whites tend not to go see films with all black casts...and that certain stars prove to be a draw only with other non-black co-stars.

This does not imply anything other than what I stated. Sometimes trends are influenced by other factors....maybe black films DO suck. I don't know.

I also never said that watching any particular actor made me open-minded or closed-minded. In fact I made no reference to myself either way. Finally, if you are unable to see that you are just as biased as those you rant against, then nothing I can say will change that. BTW, I saw one of the House Party flicks (I think 4) in the theatre. I left after about 20 minutes. It sucked ass. And the audience wouldn't shut the fuck up. People were yelling across the theatre. From what I understand, it's more of a cultural thing.
