Here's something they're probably not too eager to report on.

U.S. officials have finally (officially) acknowledge the Libyan attack was a planned, coordinated act of terror (ya think?). The kicker is, they knew it all along (including Obama), but it took them two weeks to publicly admit it. Remember how they initially chalking it up to a "spontaneous" backlash from that anti-Islam movie on Youtube?

Why would they lie about something like this? Because they're afraid people might have a negative attitude towards Muslims again?
 
I still don't get how its negative. Ive seen the footage ten times now because u can't turn on the tv now without seeing it run and rerun. He is clearly explaining how he wont get that percentage of the vote and he doesn't care about them because they are sold on Obama. He's talking about how to win an election and he's right. If u watch obama speak now he spins this as he doesn't care in his heart about 47% of Americans. Its slippery bullshit that just takes advantage of ignorant voters. Its just like the class warfare. Obama wont explain that he'll never increase capital gains taxes because it will finish off our dying economy. But he'll sure as shit tell u that Romney cheats the system when Romney just gets paid based on investments and then the guy gives 30% to charity!

The truth is half of that 47% votes republican, and he called them leeches. Why can't y'all see how that stupid that is?
 
I'm not American but I sure as shit wouldn't vote Romney. No I don't know every detail about their platform, but if the democrats where the last party to make a change to the economy and the republicans take a big shit all over it how is Obama suppose to change everything in 4 years? I just wanted to jump in, American politics is so entertaining.

That 47% he's referring to is a mix of people that for one reason or another want gov't to take care of them and provide for them, but thats not even the point. The issue and point i was making is that he was talking about people's votes and election strategy and not being able to get that 47% but when you watch the news its reported to the genernal public that he just flat out does not care about 47% of people which is crazy yet people think it. I have many democrat friends that have already told me they can't believe Romney would say that they can't believe romney would say he doesn't give a shit about them.... i'm like what... that's not what that was about lol sheeez.

Including retirees on Social Security (which should be tax-free) and active duty military currently serving in combat zones like Afghanistan who are exempt from income tax.

Ok, here's a rebuttal: Most reasonable people would agree that 9/11 was planned. It wasn't the knee-jerk response of some offensive cartoon of Mohammad or anti-Muslim movie.

This recent embassy attack flows in a similar vein. However, leading the public to believe it was instead just some spontaneous backlash from more offensive anti-Muslim propaganda is a lot safer, especially chest-deep in an election year.
 
Obama doesn't give a shit about anything right now except the election so he will do whatever he can to look good and keep the peace

Voter turnout is usually only about 57%. So it could be that as little as 10% of the voters are actually the leeches that Willard writes off.

In context, that was exactly what he was saying. They're battling over the 10% of voters in the ten states that make a difference.

If you're an independent voter in California, New York, Texas and 37 other states you might as well stay home. I'm tired of avoiding going to the office during campaign visits, fucking Mitt and Barry visited on the same day last week.

See obamas campaign promises he never followed on and all the lib dems who were pissed at him.
All politicians change their minds, say one thing then do another, romney just happened to correct his statement within close proximity to the time he said it, therefore it makes "news". If he reversed his statement a year from now after he was president no one would bat an eye
 
Righties have proven they don't care at all about gaffs and stupid statements by their own party. George Bush set the record, which was fine and dandy for the repubs. But Bush just said stupid stuff because he was stupid. Obama has said stupid stuff as well, like every President has.
Romney is different however. He tries to be everything to all people. He says what he thinks people want to hear. His contradictions are not just dumb statements, they are inconsistencies on basic principles that show he has no principles.

The things I say about Romney are so obvious, Republicans have known it all along. It's too bad he ended up as the best choice in a shitty field in that confused party.

Yeah they all do it, but I don't see anything in your examples that show that Obama is portraying himself as something other than what he really is.
Romney's gaffs show he is pretending to be something, depending on his audience, or he doesn't even know where he stands.
 
Obama doesnt know where he stands re: gay marriage. Before he was president? Against it. Then he conveniently "came out" for it this election year and was immediately lauded on a newsweek cover, called the first gay president even lol.
I seem to sense that romney should have just stuck by his statements instead of apologizing and showing more flip flop since essentially what he said was true. 47% will vote for either party no matter what. In the wake of his debate and our modern new cycles, it would have mostly been forgotten by now.
We can play these games all day because theres plenty of sound bites to go around, but I think its safe to say both obama and romney leave one thinking "is this the best we can put forward?"

Raise taxes on the rich while promising the same benefits...doesn't change the equation.

What needs to happen is these candidates need to stop making promises they know they can't deliver. Whoever has the balls to get up there and say America is fucked up, its a mess and its going to take time to fix. It won't happen overnight, but it can happen. Will be the one that gets the votes.
