Whey During The Day?

Is it ok to have a whey shake during the day? (I know milk protein is better during the day)but dont have the $ to be another shake
 
Use casein based protein during the day and whey isolate pre and post workout for best absorption rates. If you can't find a suitable casein protein source then use whey concentrate.
 
I would buy ON 100% casien protien, but it is so expensive compared to whey. Could I just mix my whey with some low(or no fat milk) and get the same effect? I know that the fat slows down the absorption, but I put on a good bit of fat when I dink a lot of milk exspecially at bedtime. Would this work?

Hell yes. Don't be shy to drink them. I have like 4 -5 times of Ion Exchanged whey per day and slam some calcium casienate prior going to bed for slow absorption.

If money is a factor, try preteinfactory.com or dpsnutrition. It is a bargain for their quality products. Hope your $ factor improves though.

Are you asking me to answer my own question or are you bringing this thread back to the top? I would think since it is "fat free" it wouldn't be bad while staying lean.
