Whey alternatives

I looked at the alternatives to whey and found that egg protein was a good replacement.

Do you need to buy egg protein from a nutrition company or can you just buy powdered egg whites from the store?

i've never seen it in a store but I imagine some grocery stores may carry it. Your best bet would be an online supplement place. They are most likely going to be a hell of a lot cheaper.

Im checking out protein factory. They have pretty good deals.

I get Whey isolate from a vitamin cottage. I dont know if you have one of those where you live but it is kinda pricy, its cost 15$ per pound but it only has 1 carb per serving I love it and dont care about the price. Just a idea though

suggest the protein powder. you see, whether the egg whites are whole or powdered, they are still low in absorption by the body (I am assuming this because I've been told similar by a former nutrition specialist..don't take their word for it though). the powder on the other hand has been altered and also broken down in a such a way to make it extremely easy to absorb by the body. There are two particular amino acids that egg & egg white protein contain that are too complex for the body to absorb from the actual food source (I think one is found in bananas too, not sure). Anyway, that's all I know :)

Good to hear. I ordered 5lbs of egg white protein powder from the protein factory.
