Where to go on vacation???

My wife and I are planning a little get-a-way, but we can't decide where to go, so I figured I would ask ya'll. We are thinking someplace warm and tropical. Our top choices right now are:

Nassau, Bahamas
Puerto Vallarta
Cabo San Lucas

They are all similar in price, so that is not an issue with these. We plan on being gone for 5-7 days. The trips to Mexico can be a little cheaper, but some have told me that Mexico isn't as nice as other places because it tends to be a little dirty. Any ideas?

Carribean cruise...

Most relaxing time you will ever have..

Thank for the help...

We considered a cruise, but even though we are wanting to relax, we're not sure if being confined to a boat is our thing. We are very active people and want plenty of stuff to do. My wife loves to shop. Are there cool places to shop at Nassau? Karma to all of you. Any others?

If your wife is a shopaholic she will love Nassau!
You can buy awesome, high quality stuff for cheap there.

Watch out for street vendors and people on the beaches trying to sell you crap though.

I went on a cruise to the Bahamas and when we docked I got off the boat and was like, yeah and....

It didn't do anything for me. The cruise was awesome. There are TONS of things to do. You don't feel confined cause it's really up to you on how busy you want to be. On RCCL everynight they slip a bulletin under your door and it's jammed packed with activities. Then when you get to your respective island or islands there is loads more stuff to do!

The best part of the bahamas for me was jet skiing for the first time in the crystal clear water. It was gorgeous. Oh and my husband saved someone from drowning that day too, so that made it even cooler!

I haven't been to any of the other places. I'm going to Punta Cana in July and vegas, again in August.

cruising, it's not just bingo any more....
There are 7 day cruises to St Martin, St Thomas, both great shopping meccas.

When she is shopping you can take a trip to St. John and snorkel etc.

Gambling, great shows and food and you don't think about anything as it is all done for you. You park at an island usually ever other day and spend the whole day checking it out.

Never been to Nassau. However father was a Naval commander and used to fly my mother down there about 1 every 2 years. She was happier than shit when she got back. And we always got lots O presents.

So this seems to be the way to go.

Maroma Mexico, by Playa. 45 minutes from Cancun shops and night life without all the people. We stayed at the all inclusive resort and took a bus into Playa and Cancun. We slept on the beach 2 nights and April got crabs,,goot trip without all the highschool kids in Cancun

Your wife got crabs and it was a good trip?

Just kidding about the crabs,

Call 275-2332 and tell her I sent you. She does all our trips. Just tell her how much you want to spend and how many nights. She will hook you up.

Stay at the Spinn Drift Inn, Monterey, CA, on Cannery Row, 2nd story room, facing the ocean.

The waves break on the inn at night, large bay windows that open up, window seats with cushions large enough for two to sleep on, down comforters, fireplaces in the rooms...

You can kiyak in the bay and snorkle from your boat.

Dude, you won't want to leave.
