Whens YOUR personel mr. olympia

majority opf the people on this board dont compete, they bodybuild for there own personel reasons myself included. Im curious to know whats your goals or set date for the goal you want to accomplish in the 2002-2003 season. I consider my personel mr olympia contest (i call it that because im training as hard as if i were competing ) to be september 2003 thats the date when i want to acomplish my goal. Whens yours ?
 
Damn bro I thought I was the only one. I compete against my weak self to where I don't cheat. I want to be at 220 5% by april.
 
I view my body goals as not only a contest but a "war" with myself. Every time i step into the gym to lift the heavy slag iron its a sholdier firing at the enemy, every bit of protein i consume is the planes dropping bombs and every hour of sleep is the ships brining more troops to storm the beeches .
 
Damn bro you need a workout partner. My punkass workout partner can't even spell strain or protein. I guess thats why I have put on 45 pounds in the last year compares to his 6.:rolleyes:
 
Hey it all comes down to how much you want it. i want it like so badly i can taste it. I'm hungry for it. Hey you can get ANYTHING if you try hard enough hell you want motivation read about a football player named robert edwards. he's a motivation story for ya a rookie in 98 had a amazing season rushed 1,000 yards ,made pro bowl then in the beech football game broke his leg so badly that doctors said it physically impossible for him to play pro football again. now years later he just made the miami dolphins roster.

or maybe because ur injecting urself full of AAS is why u put the pounds on and he didnt.

Sorry bro, same cycles. Common misperception that juice is only a small factor. He can juica year round and he still won't catch me. Diet.

6 pounds in a year is lame by anybodys standards. what does he eat, celery? why would u do AAS and eat so badly that u didnt put on any muscle. seems a bit stupid to me.

Talking the dude is like talking to a brick wall. The man is set in his ways. His money his body.......Lame? Its fucking pathetic.
 
my goal is to get down to 5% bf and up from 167 to 175/180lbs by this time next year. prob naturally. or maybe ill do a var and winny cycle at some point.
 
seems all our goals for late 2003 we shoudl start a weekly support group to get in each others face to keep us hungry for our goals

My goal for summer of 2003 is to be the same size as I was this summer,except with a smaller waist.This summer I was 190 lbs. 18" arms with a 33" waist.
For next summer I am shooting for 190lbs. 18" arms and a 28" waist,I am 5' 7".I am confident about getting my waist down to 28",I have already lost 2" the last 5 weeks(now 31").The biggest challenge will be keeping my size,hopefully 2 big cycles between now and next summer will take care of that. :)

You, my friend, should be a motivational speaker. This baby fired me up!! Probably not an english teacher, but, definitely a motivational speaker. I would add to your thesis as well. There are a number of bodybuilders who DO compete, but the goal is not necessarily to win the show and ultimately go pro, but, improve size & conditioning from previous shows and hit a personal best. To compete on a national basis, it seems going to the extreme in supplementation with slin & GH etc. is almost necessary. I think there are plenty of BB'rs that love to compete & make improvements but don't want to put their bodies through that stuff. I fall into this category as well as many others that I have known over the years..
