When writing emails at work...

Does anyone else ever feel tempted to include the occasional "LOL" "WTF" or "OMG" or even when writing an email to a co-worker or boss? I do. But i have to restrain myself.

I used to have customers that would put smilelys in there emails when they repilied, but work emails I always keep serious.

When doing professional business correspondence or quotes or follow up emails, or proposals -- i stay professional and to the tee.

When it's just daily chit-chat and emails with business folk, i act "human". No one wants to talk to a robot.

I typically end any correspondence with the client with one of these beauties:

my coworkers hate it when I "brb" them in an email. In fact, I think I'm going to get fired because of it. Which is ok with me, since I just cleaned out the office supplies cabinet and put a dead squirrel in my boss' drawer.
