When to Tren?

genman

New member
I'm putting together my 7th cycle and it looks to be like this
wk 1-12 Test e 500 mg/wk ( 2 X 250mg)
wk 1-12 Primo 600 mg week

I want to add tren ace (first tren cycle, thus the ace) 50-75mg ed. Question is, for maximum cutting, do I start tren wk 1-7 or wait until the end of the cycle, maybe wk 5-10. I am inexperienced with tren and would like some experienced feeedback.

WHy do you want to add tren when you're spending a good amount of cash on the primo? Just stick to a test/primo cycle, less sides and good hard gains.

I'm afraid my gains may stagnate after about eight weeks (as they tend to do). Mixing in the tren would allow strength gains, hardness and vascularity beyond what the primo would do by itself. I'm leaning toward wk 1-7, since primo takes a while to kick in (about 4-5 weeks last cycle). I agree, primo/ test is a great cycle, but I also feel that tren would be a worthy addidtion for the reasons mentioned above.

Your gains will depend on your diet and training, not so much your gear. Tell me your diet and training plans.

I agree wholeheartedly !

Stats 45 y/o, 6'1" 235 lb, 14%bf (12% when I start cycle), been lifting continuously for 15 + yrs. First cycles and last two were about 15 years apart.

Training 6 days/wk, two body parts/day. This training is split up as one body part heavy/low reps, the other light/high reps. My body responds to this regime very well. Cardio four days/wk.

Diet will be geared toward cutting. Again, at my advanced age I know what works well for me. I believe my diet is dialed in.

I appreciate the help, but my question was more philosophical for those experienced tren users. Maybe the answer is as you say, primo/test only. Are you saying that tren does not belong anywhere in this cycle? I do appreciate the experienced input.

You just said that you want Tren for when the gains stop at week 8 or so. That should answer the question IMO. If you use it at the front how does it help stagnant gains ?

IMO, no. I think you should stick to test and primo. Especially at 45, you don't want to use any harsh steroids, why put your body thru something like that?

You said your diet is dialed in, but that really tells me nothing. You have a diet layout you're going to follow? refeed? etc...

Even being 100% natural, doing a BodyOpus diet you can drop 1-2lbs. of bodyfat / week and gain ~.25 lbs. of muscle/wk, imagine adding gear to that.

Mr. X is the man... I'm glad I followed his advice as a newb.

I lived in the diet forum for a good long time, then was promoted to the training forum :)

You're right, my body reacts very differently now to certain compounds then it did "back in the day". Primo/test it is. Thanks for the input.

agreed, when X gives advice, 99% of this board listens. youre 45(which isnt old) but tren is a very harsh steroid. evrybody likes this one but also talks about how gnarly it is. if you dont really need to put yourself thru it, then why would you? if X says you dont need it for this cycle, you probably dont. now if you wanna re-think or do it for your next cycle. tren n' prop are the shit.(my .02)

True, but if there were more value in using it in front, then the stagnation could be dealt with in other ways. Also, the strength gains are particularly desirable in the beginning. I think Mr. X is right. At my age, don't get too tricky. Thanks for your input.

I love me some tren. I'm 51, 6-1 240. Tren has made the most profound impact on my physique, since the first time I tried it two years ago. I do 7 weeks at a time with tren ace, always with test, and this time with EQ. Mr Spine is older than me and he loves it too. Be careful and safe with it and expect some sides if you choose to try it.
