When to start clomid?

I am about to start my first cycle.

1-8 500mg Sustanon/week

I would like to know when to start taking my clomid?
Do I start the clomid during my cycle or do I wait 2 weeks? There seems to be so many different opinions.
And is 14 days on clomid enough?

Nolva 40mg wk1, 30mg wk2, 20mg wk3
Clomid 100mg wk1, 50mg wk2, 50mg wk3
