When does it "kick in"

I always see everyone talking about when steroid X "kicks in". What, exactly, are you basing this on? I just read a post saying that EQ doesn't "kick in" for 5 weeks. Can someone please explain to me why a compound that is in your system for over a month all of a sudden begins to exert it's effects? I can understand requiring some time to build up system levels...but I can't imagine it taking that long. Andif it does take a month to build up toa stable level, then why wouldn't you front load the first week to get up to working levels quickly and stop wasting time and gear with a gradual build-up? Are there situations where loading is dangerous?

i was wondering the same thing...i'd expect EQ to "kick in" at like week 2, of 2 or 3 times a week shots. sust i would expect to kick in the same time....and even earlier with the shorter esters. i don't really get this either to be honest.

its the esters, they release at different times

well then sust should kick in in three days then to begin with at least. and EQ's ester takes 5 weeks to kick in??? huh???

Yes your right but sust only has 30mg of prop in it, do you really think your gonna feel that LOL

So I understand that different esters react in different lengths of time...but I'm looking for some explination of why. What makes different esters of test vary in time? Is it simple a matter of the amount of time it takes to build up to stable levels?

The different esters are designed to do just that--slow the release of test. into your system, some very quickly (propionate, within a few days) to very slowly (enanthate, cypionate, decanoate, within a few weeks.)

After the test. levles are built-up, say in week-3, you're still not going to get INSTANT results. Think about D-bol and Anadrol, which increase blood levels of the drug pretty much immeditealy. You still don't expect your strength to go though the roof on your first day of those, even though your blood levels of the drug are already up in the working range.

Besides building up to the certain level in your body, there's another aspect, why you don't get kick in for a few weeks. Our bodies don't respond to steroids, training and increase in food intake instantly, it takes time, especially responce to steroids.

well, at 90mg a week then you'd feel something. :D not much, but something. i understand the whole "body adaptation thing" to diet change, extra hormones.....but i think the kick-in thing is a bit misleading.
