When does beard stubble look cool on a man?

if the stubble is dark, all one color, and has a regular growth pattern, yeh, it looks cool.

strangely shaped, multi-colored, or (god forbid) gray........get rid of it!

yea if the growth pattern isn't regular you look like a fucking dirtball....I have a pretty thick beard but it pisses me off the left side of my face is thicker and a bit darker than the right side.

seriously though, as others have said, as long as you don't let it get too out of hand, and you have even hair growth, it should look fine.

If I'm doing some kind of physical labor and at the end of the day I have a stubble it can pass for acceptable, sometimes when I just don't give a fuck.

If I have to get dressed up it's baby face all the way. At least until the stubble comes in a few hours later.

facial hair can be hot! but it really depends on the person. so many factors to consider. but as a rule of thumb, it looks best when you have darker colored hair IMO

I only shave every other day, out of pure lazyness, so I sport the stubbly look quite often and don't shave on Sundays at all. Shave on Fridays, no shave Saturdays or Sundays, Sunday morning, the stubble looks cool, but by the night, the stubble feels too itchy.

My ex GF liked the look, but hated when I scraped her with my chin.

For me - 3-4 days of growth with a sharp clean line thats been shaved on the neck on the cheeks
