when does adultery start?

when a man is contemplating cheating on his wife with some home wrecking tina bush biatch, when does adultery start?

french kissing?

removing her clothes?

biting her nipples?

riming her?

oral tonguing?

penis to vagina insertion?

some guys swear that as long as there is no penis insertion, you are not cheating on the wife.

what do you guys/gals think?

I agree with what Austin said, for the most part.

What about flirting? I'm guilty of flirting with (and flat out hitting on) women in relationships, although it's not something I'm proud of. I'd never ever mess around with a girl in a relationship, but it's fun to just flirt knowing that nothing can come of it. Does that count as adultery?

What about non-physical intimacy? I have had very close female freinds who would tell me things they'd never tell thier partners. Is that adultery as well?
 
Adultery starts the very second you are doing something you would lie to your spouse about.
And Taps, I don't think flirting falls into that category. Just because someone is married does not mean that they are dead. If a couple is secure with themselves and their relationship, they should view someone flirting with their spouse as a compliment. There is no disease worse than jealousy!!
 
i think right about when you turn 20, at least for me it did. you know, you've been out of high school for one year and are tired of working at pizza-hut. this is the time to make lifes hard choices you know. whether to continue at pizza hut and hope you are promoted to cook or start looking elsewhere. ya, id say about 20.

I do not think the physical act is a big deal. If it was just swex, I could probably deal with it. However, if they become emotionally attached and intimate that is where I believe adultery begins.

It definitely exists. There are many completely monogamous gay couples out there. I am not sure I truly believe in monogamy. Not because we are gay, but because we are men. I would like to hope that one day I am settled down in a completely monogamous relationship, but for whatever reason be it age or whatever. I am not to that point yet. I may never be.

With that said, I do expect completely emotional intimacy with whoever I am with. I guess you could refer to it as emotional monogamy.

It begins when he starts getting his emotional needs met by the OW (other woman) rather than the W (wife)

When he chooses not to talk about the problems in his relationship with his W, that are allowing him to justify the continued, dangerous contact with the OW

When he tells private things about his marriage and his W to the OW

When he lies about where he was, or downplays the relationship that he has with the OW

When he adjusts his schedule to be with the OW

When the realities of his relationship with the OW necessitate that he lies to his wife... i.e. when he would no longer be comfortable sharing every detail of his day and aspect of his relationship with the OW with his W
 
So by that standard, a couple that agrees to swing isn't adultry ?
Technically a couple that swings is violating the webster's definition given above.

Internet flirting?? I suppose it depends on your motivation (i.e., your reasons) for doing it in the first place. If it's just for shits and giggles I don't see a problem - but if it's because your genuinely unsatisfied with your current relationship - then there's something wrong....but then again...who's ReaLLy satisfied with their current relationship??
