i really cant stand them, i pay for plat and dont like the constant spam of adds even inside threads

go to your profile and click on edit options

Down at the very bottom you will see

Site-wide Advertisements
When ON, you can display site advertisements in the forum. Set it to OFF if you don't want advertisements. This is Platinum Feature and other members get advertisements regardless of this setting.
