I wouldn't want to be a vegetarian because I really don't care too much about the animals.. I don't want to see them suffer.. but its not like we are taking cows out of happy little pasterus... they are bred to be slaughtered.

Also I can't imagine eating 500 grams of protein per day from non-animal sources.

Anyway, it's better than eating 100% junk food like so many do. At least some veggies care about health and stuff.

Vegetarians/Vegans in my opinion are on the right track. Some sympathize with the animals; some sympathize with their own digestive tract, some do both. If I could get all the protein I need without any discrepancies with a vegetarian only diet then I would do it in a second. No one should tell you in a harsh manner to "eat this or else", that would cause most to retaliate in a negative manner; folks should approach others respectfully and understand those who are obvious morons.
