what's wrong with my DSL?

It's the ISP. I had the problem when I use to have DSL. It usually meant that the ISP is running tests or upgrading the area. Get cable and you're up all the time. My cable is way better than DSL.

It could be any number of reasons. Modem is the most like cause. It you did any hardware upgraded like a new motherboard or OS upgrades updating the modem drivers might help or the modem just could be bad. It could be something on the ISP end too.

Call your service provider and inform them that you are a deadly weapon.

Could be alot of things. Verizon is not allowed to offer the isp side in ohio so you must have verizon and a isp that offers dsl. And they both blame each other whenever there is a problem. I get a problem with my speeds and pings. I have friends who do trace routes for me to help find the problem and its almost always ISP being bottlenecked. I also threw my Linksys router in the trash and took thats shitty fujisu modem i had and smashed it off the wall when i was on fina. lol. I since bought CISCO 678 DSL Modem / Router and it made a difference also. It is hard to fucking program but it has helped my home network out alot.
