Whats the difference between a BA and a BS degree?

BS in finance=either way im still jobless. The economy sucks

BA can be done at a junior college and is a general degree that anyone can get....

BS takes a lot of work and can be only done at a university or 4 year college, there are exceptions...

BA, bio=didn't want to take organic chem or biochem
BS in bio=you know your shit and are going to get paid well

Little different in Canada...both are done at the university level and both take the same amount of time and work.

I have a BA in Philosophy and am not in upper management. I don't think it really matters what your degree in, but that you actually completed a degree.

Once you get into a company, it is a combination of luck, opportunity and skill that will help you advance.
