there is only one brand of peanut butter that i have seen that only has peanuts in it. all the others have icing sugar.
whats in your peanut butter?

100% peanuts

Have you tried an organic store ?

The Laura Scudder's brand that I have is just peanuts. You can find it at grocery stores nationwide.

Most natural food stores have their own in-house brand with no additives like sugar, and/or will give you the option of grinding your own fresh.

Kraft. What'S wrong with that ?

Probably the sugar content, if that's a concern for you.

Any grocery store will sell natural pb, which is simply peanuts. You don't need to go to a nutrition/health food store to get it.

Alot of grocery stores have peanut butter machines. You add the peanuts, hit a switch, and they get all mashed up for you. Thats how I buy PB these days. They taste REALLY good that way, and you don't get all that oil floating to the top because its freshly made.

However, the peanuts still probably have some salt added, so they aren't 100% peanut, but pretty darn close.

Not only that but I believe a lot of the name brand PB (JIF, skippy, kraft) add very unhealthy trans fatty acids to their concoctions, I think this is to prevent the oil from separating.
