What's a common dosage Docs presribe for HRT?

Depending on size, age and test outcomes. I've seen a general 300mgs - 400mgs every 2 weeks. You go in, they give you the shot. If they add GH, it's around 1iu ED.

My doc has prescribed androgel..it comes in small 5 gram packets that can be applied daily. Depending on your test level the amount you use is adjusted accordingly.

If your only on the low end of normal it can be anywhere from 200mg every 3 weeks to 200mg every 4 weeks. all they are trying to do is get you up to median normal range. But yes, what they said ^^^^^

Typically 100 - 150 mg Test C weekly (plus HCG @ either 100IU daily or 250-500IU twice weekly). Blood tests are used to determine the proper dosage. In addition, any doc with a clue (SWALE for example) will dose weekly.

He's having you run 250 iu's of hcg EOD for a couple months? Interesting. Not that I don't agree, but I'd like to here more of what he told you. HCG is always a well argued subject.

I did. I was given Sust250 1 mg per week, some gains. Towards the end they up it to 500 per week!!!! Hell yeah!

why did they up it? obvuously you were responding, was it due to a blood test?

I've made steady gains on androgel, but sometimes will go off it just prior to a blood test...so I show low levels. Bingo! another script for twice as much. My test levels on two packs a day were around 3000. Definitely made gains and lost body fat.

I'm not claiming to be able to understand this. I wish I did. Maybe someday.

Actually, I might be running the hCG eod forever. The first couple months is what I laid out. Then we'll do a blood workup, and see where I'm at, and adjust everything accordingly. Lather, rinse, repeat until I end up with the baseline profile we're targeting.
