sold you "bunk" gear...?...a friend and i bought some gear(T-shirts) and we have confirmed that the gear is BUNK...my friend knows who this person is...what shall we do...?

would it not be the right thing to do,for the source in question to return the funds...?an exchange of good faith...?i advised the source immediatelly once the gear was tested and got the run around for approx 4 months NOW...what do you guys think?for myself 1k is quite the $$$...

I would give him/her the benefit of the doubt and assume they didn't know. Once you alert them to the fact, then something should be worked out. If they continue to ignore you, and you know who/were they are, then handle it just like you would someone who owed you money that you weren't getting back....and that is up to you.

Yea, he's had enough time. Possibly he was scammed himself, and was just passing it along. Or maybe he didn't even know the gear was wrong. Either way he needs to set things right. I don't know what kind of outlaw you are, maybe you don't want this to end with you being in a jam. If an assault is too harsh for you, maybe just set fire to his car, but make sure it's not somewhere where you might set a house onfire. If you don't like that idea, post. I have more.

I know you're not an idiot and wouldn't do anything stupid. You need to make it clear that you want something worked out, and soon. If he can't pay you, get it in gear, but you need to do something quick.

this is certainly something to think about.
first, you should do what bidmoose says and assuke this dude did not know it was fake. bring it back and say you need to get your money back because the shit is fake. say that you are not going anywhere until something is done about this. 1 grand is a lot of money. just dont fly off the handle and get yourself in trouble.. that would be like adding insult to your own injury.

yup...listen,i'm trying to do this the RIGHT way ya know...give him the benefit of the doubt,etc...but the thing is you can only have so much patience...the friggin' product has cotton balls growing in it at this point...i advised him from the beginning that the sh*t smelled bad...if you catch my drift...---

Find another source and load up on Halo and Test and think about how much money you lost. Get your ass to the nearest garden shop and then gas station. Grab a bag of fertilizer and a canister of diesel. Lay newspaper on his front porch with a mound of the fertilizer... Dump the diesel onto the mound and run for your life. This should take care of those pesky scammers...
