What will ppl do once ephedrine is gone?

What do you think will happen? Will people just stop using it, will it go underground, will Twinlab & co promote the hell out of their other thermogenics? And what about all the guys at the gym who's sipping Ripped Force for the energy boost, rather than fat loss? Will they start using amphetamines instead (Lord help us)?

I'm no longer a big ephedrine fan so I really don't care that much myself but it's such a HUGE product you have to wonder what's going to happen.

Maybe. But the industry has been trying for years to come up with "ephedrine-free" alternatives but people STILL go for the ephedrine. I can't remember the actual percentage of revenues GNC lost when they dropped ephedrine but it was HUGE.

Well, currently the ban seems to be limited to ephedra containing supplements. This leaves ephedrine containing medications which are OTC for asthma sufferers. I see it being available for a very long time. IMO, the reason people keep using ephedrine is the lack fo effectiveness of most alternatives and a lot of lifters like the stimulant effect pre-workout.

There was a time when I would live on the stuff - NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. But that was back in my competitive days.

Now I just take it when I am dragging and want to go to the gym.

Cigarettes and alcohol are lega, but ephedrine is not. Makes a lot of sense.

I don't understand the premise of taking a pill to lose weight. All I knew is that when I wanted to be A-W-A-K-E... it did me juth fine!!

I would take 2 before training and no matter how intense it was (and back in the day the guys would be scared of me and my old training partner) I would NEVER EVER bottom out.
