what to use for a beginner

Hey guys/gals. This is my first post, but I have been reading this forum now for about three months and it has been very helpful.

I need some help selecting my supplements, anabolic or not. I just started lifting and I really want to maximize my results as much as I can. I want to get big. Can someone recommend a good supplement to take for a beginner. Maybe even a good getting big routine. I am already taking 1gram of protein for every body pound I weigh.

I am 27 yo, 200lbs 18%BF which I would like to be about 12%

Thanks all

if u just started lifting i would say hold oof the anabolics until u reach ur natural potential.. creatine is good.. whey protein is what u should go for right now (i dont like creatine myself)..

there's no supplement that can replace good training..

train hard, eat right, do cardio, etc....

then after a year or two.. consider using a supplement or gear to take you to the next level.

You should pick up a couple good books like Arnold's encyclopedia of bodybuilding. His routines are overkill for a mere mortal, but the excercises are all explained along with how to put together a training program.

It's actually really cool being a beginner because the gains come so easy! I've put on 15 lean pounds in just 6 weeks. In the first three weeks my bodyfat went from 20 to 15% and I used some DNP to drop to 10%.

Read the training and diet boards here. Buy protein powder, l-glutamine, creatine, and an ECA stack (the PPA sold here is good). Don't waste your money on anything else for now.

Bro, just train hard untill you reach your natural plateau, then think about juice. Right now I'd say go to the local supplement store and pick up some vitamins, glutamine, and protein. Start off with those. Gear is no miracle drug, you have to work hard first in order to reap it's benefits.
