Things to post here...

-- LEGAL questions on bodybuilding. This can include, but is not limited to custom seizures, arrests, legal consequences of possession or otherwise, penalties, federal vs. state sentencing... and other things along these lines.

-- OTHER legal questions regarding criminality or civil law (i.e., Torts, real estate, corporate law, SEC, etc.) will be answered if it is appropriate. Meaning, don't expect to come here and have us fill out your application and paper work for a corporation, and then file it with the Secretary of State. Our PRIMARY focus here is to answer questions related to BODYBUILDING and the LAW... however, I have (and other mods LISTED AT THE TOP of this forum).

Things NOT to post here.

-- This is NOT a chat and conversation board. This is NOT a fitness workout board... only LEGAL questions will be answered here. Joking around "ha ha" questions will either be deleted, moved to chat, or locked down.

****NOTE**** the Moderators listed at the TOP of the forum are Moderators who are QUALIFIED to comment and give advice in this forum... I am a licensed attorney, so are the others listed up there... I believe Manny is licensed in Canada... but we will not hold that against him.... ;)
Keep that in mind when asking your questions and with the answers you recieve.

When friends ask me for advice, I can always give a cursory answer... but I am always positive that they are not telling me the WHOLE story... it is for this reason, if you are in trouble, or feel that you are in over your head... you should always meet with an attorney, face to face...

Thanks, and enjoy the board!

Welcome to EF's new "Bodybuilding and the Law" board! Mike DiMaggio and I will endeavor to make responsive posts to as many of your criminal law questions as possible. To follow up on Citruscide's comments on what to post/not post, please understand that the posts of the mods on this board must be for the purposes of providing general information, not legal advice, and do not of themselves create any attorney-client relationships. Anyone who is contacted by law enforcement authorities as a possible target of investigation or arrest should seek competent legal counsel immediately. It still baffles us to hear people who've had their steroid packages seized, their houses searched, and been told by law enforcement authorities that they'd "better cooperate" ask, "Do you think I need a lawyer?" Duh!

Those of you who are concerned about the continued legal, over-the-counter availability of prohormone products should feel free to post questions here as well (and visit the forum at www.USFA.biz for the latest news). Mike and I are aggressively involved in the fight to preserve the legality of safe dietary supplement products.

Lastly, we want to express our great appreciation to all those who have supported my web site and my book, LEGAL MUSCLE. That includes, of course, my friend George Spellwin and my new friends on this board, including Citruscide. I look forward to your posts!

Best regards,
Rick Collins, Esq.

Great Post C-Ditty, glad you locked it. While I am not licensed at this point, I do have a Law Degree and will help in anyway possible.

Keep up the good work guys!
