I can't go to my profile or download anything once I get to a site. I just switched services from AOL to their sister company Netscape. I'm still using AOL but I downloaded Netscape. I think it must be a ripoff. They want to charge you a dollar for each technical call, probably because you'll have to make several. The whole business world is saturated with crooks. Armegeddon must be getting close.

Thanks so much for that info. Cancelling tomorrow. BTW, it is owned by AOL. When I cancelled my AOL account, they introduced me to their sister company that is only 9.99 a month. I should have known better. AOL is the scam.

i pay $6 more a month for cable than i did for AOL. there was no point in keeping that BS aol crap. i also got a new comp 2 weeks after i went to cable. when i called aol to cancel, they tried to keep me. i finally said "listen, i just got a new comp, and i won't even put your program on my computer, so does that tell you that i do NOT want to keep your services?" they shut up.

and when they keep calling you to try to get you to come back, use this line:

"i do not use windows anymore as i have switched to Linux. you do not support Linux, therefore i can not use your products." they'll leave you alone. trust me, i know from experience. (and windows blows, i stay in linux 99% of the time )

yep started using it about 6 monthe ago and never looked back.
