It's an ingredient on this can of beans I'm eating. I'm super classy I know.

Anyway, one of the major secrets of our time is that the violin is actually a weapon of mass destruction. No one really knows how it works but it is very dangerous and if you ever see someone with a violin case then you should attack them. Actually, you should ask what they have in there first cause if it's a concealed gun or something then that's okay cause it's not as dangerous as the violin. It wasa violin that killed JFK. It was a violin that killed Abraham Lincoln. It was a violin that Charles Manson used to murder those people. Does any one here speak French? yes, you are right - Beldon and Mr. Muscle are the same entity.

EDTA is a metal ion chelator. Bacteria (as all cells) require metalions, in particular magnesium, in order to reproduce. A metal chelator will bind to metal ions making them unavailable to any living organisms in your food.....so they cant reproduce and spoil your food. So as Naturally Anabolic said, it acts as a preservative.

Me personally?? Or people in general? Well it isn't enough for you to have to worry about it. I used to have to work with this stuff and I'm sure I breathed in more of this in a week that most people get in a lifetime........and I'm still here.

Never realised it was used for heavy metal poisoning........makes sense though :).
