I recently sent a donation to our good old friend A****. Well from his website, i've heard that he has had problems with mail theft and people at the PO stealing his mail/donations..anyways, I also know he is backed up with orders so I dont want to piss him off by emailing him and stuff.

Anyways, because of the recent stories of him gettin robbed at the post office, I checked my tracking number to see if my donation made it ok.

Well whenever I send express, I ALWAYS waive signature. ALWAYS. And when i went to www.usps.com to check on my envelope, it said it WAS delivered and SIGNED BY *****! Signed by??? I waived the signature..do you think someone signed for it and stole it?? I'm confused. And b/c I had the signature waived, and I have the copy of the receipt, and if it was INDEED stolen, can i take any legal action against the post office b/c i have proof that i waived signature??

Did you call someone at ups and ask them how someone signed for it and explain that shit has been getting stolen, and this might be linked. Atleast it will be on record that someone asked about stolen mail, which is a federal offence isn't it?

well everything turned out ok..just recieved email..

but I am still a little concerned that even though I waived the signature, the PO GOT a signature for delivery! Im not pissed about this situation now that i know everything is ok, but then again, i am worried for my other business ventures in the future. Namely "friends" who I dont want to get popped because even though I waived signature, the PO made them sign for it.

Everytime i've sent Express to A I have waived sig and it always show that HE signed for it shouldnt be a prob for you though
