Who saw the sopranos last night? What a great episode, unbelieveable. I dont understand how they are going to end the season with just one more episode.

I cant beleive no one posted about this yet, unless I missed it

i think they are trying to cram too much into this season
first chris
then bobby and sil
i dunno, entertaining but the thrill is gone

loved it. let the wacking begin. I think tony makes it through the turf war, wacks phil, loses a lot of his own guys, then AJ comes into the ice cream parlor at the end and kills his dad for sticking the boot up his ass in the episode last night.

i disagree, this is what fans have been wanting from day one and now they get it...

then some losers who aren't happy with anyone will always complain.

I thought that each of the last two episodes could easily have been the best Sopranos single episode ever.

I still love Pine Barrens though.

AJ saves Tony's life in the end, don't hate me for knowing
Do you seriously know that for a fact? I thought the boot up his ass was a foreshadow for him going off the deep end and blaming pops for all his issues. I say tony makes it through and then gets offed by AJ.

You know - the guy who got away when Sil was shot lat night is the dad of Meadow's bf.

I bet he will be involved somehow - otherwise why bring the Meadow story line into at all at this point??

Phils's crew tries to whack Meadow's bf and his dad gets involved somehow - or they get the dad and the bf gets involved.

Hmm, interesting; i will be very interested to see how they will tie all these loose-ends together for the last episode.

TF- pure speculation

Going to sleep with the machine gun on his chest was AWESOME!!!

I also LOVED when Bobby got it. What a scene. With the trains and shit. Just great.

yep....

I know that scene with Meadow and the guy from Phil's crew in the restaurant was to spur the action between Tony and Phil....but the writers could have used ANY bf for her in that scene...you know?

great episode with the general retiring to his quarters at the end

i pray aj will man up somehow, i still have faith in him

btw that was beautiful neapolitan being spoken (the 3 killers who shot the wrong dude)

I see them making some connection with the frequent terriorist references, not sure what though. Maybe the middle easterner's take out both family's with AJ holding the reigns.

I love how they throw out all kinds of possible options for story lines. The ones everyone are talking about it this.

AJ somehow man's up and becomes a key player in the Sopranos family seemlingly overnight.

The Therapist turns Tony in, OR by her leaving him he goes nuts and takes out the New York family on his own.

The terrorist thing pans out and Tony is offered some sort of break for his help in thrwarting a huge terror plot.

i think his therapist dumping him was to tie up that loose end. to get her out of the picture.

i personally liked yesterdays episode. how bobby was ever in the family is beyond me. he was such a puss. him getting killed in the hobby store buying an $8000 train was classic. he was nothing but a big kid. mildly retarded imop.

i thought it was halarious the way carmella was "shocked" they had to run. i mean come on, is she that naive? this is like the 3rd time they had to go into hiding. it should be routine for them.

yes i agree they are trying to put in too much all at once.

Tony will be arrested, AJ will self destruct, then Paulie will get whacked.

I think yesterdays episode was the best one ever.

I also think as bigmann just said that the therapist dumping him was to close that end of the story

The writers of the soprano's always leave something up in the air almost every season/episode so I think they might do it for the last episode too

AJ is such a pussy I hate his character right now, I hope he mans up somehow in this last episode

I think the whole terrorist thing was to let Tony know about Phil trying to take out the family.

One thing is for sure i cant wait for Sunday!

parts oof it were very gay like when sill knew theywere coming for them and he puts his gun in his bag in the back seat wtf is that shit.. you would think he would have it on him locked and loaded

yeah that scene was unrealistic. they would not go to the bada bing in broad daylight to carry out the hit! what did they think they were gonna do, walk right into the bing and ask for Sil?

Agreed Chris should've gone last season. Developing the story with his wife was worthless. Also Bobby's story was sped up too much as well. Became #3 without us really knowing. Even moved to a nice house this year and it wasn't shown at all so his success in the mafia couldn't be gauged.

Here's what I'm thinking:

1. That assault rifle Bobby gave Tony will do some damage. I knew when it was given to Tony it would be used in the end.
2. Pauly is kept around because he is the bad ass and fan favorite gangster. If he goes out, he will have a great one liner and take it like a man.
3. I think if anything were to happen with AJ, he runs away because he can't stand his surroundings.
4. Now, does Tony die? If he does live he has no one left to earn big for him with Bobby, Syl, and Chris gone. So, I don't see how he can really live and the ending be good. I think it would be better if he dies.

so much to get through in one episode!

i want tony to die as well ... i like tony but man he has killed alot of people.. i think tony dies saving his family prolly aj that fucking pussy so in 5 yeats they can make another show about the sopranons with aj the boss or some shit lol

Which is why there should be a seventh season of 12 episodes. Season six had about 4 episodes where shit didn't happen. I think one episode should've been scrapped when Tony was in a coma. The episode when he didn't let go of the brief case to go in the house with all the dead people he knew was amazing.

i wish aj wacks his father because he is fed up with being a bitch....and steps up to the plate to take over the family....

and then the saga continues with a new leader

i can totally see why people where less than enthusiastic about those episodes, but they were so full of metaphors and symbolism and the artistic and creative side of the producers/directors really came out.

If that happens it will ruin the greatest TV series of all time.

Here's something that came to my head: since Pauly always was friendly to the NY guys, and Sylvio and Bobby are gone, and Tony is all alone, maybe Phil gets to Pauly, Pauly backstabs Tony in the end, Tony gets whacked by his own guys, and Pauly takes over the NJ bunch and makes peace with NY for the sake of business. Carmella is actually relieved because that life for her is over now. AJ decides to grow a pair and in the end enlists in the service.

I don't see Tony going into the fbi informant protection program or getting arrested at this point. There's not enough time to play that story out.

And Meadow does a nude scene so there is absolutely NO WAY this final episode could ever be topped!

Tony has to die, otherwise the series doesn't end it just stops. And Steve Van Zandt has already said that if they do a Sopranos movie it would have to be a prequel.

I think, or at least hope, that when Tony gets it, it's from somone close to him. Either Carmella kills him to protect AJ, or Paulie Walnuts whacks him in an ultimate act of betrayal, or Meadow kills him because he wouldn't buy her a car in season 4, even Dr. Melfi. It would be boring for him to be killed by an overt rival. Killing himself because he's cornered with no exit would be acceptable.
