sympathomimmetic eyedrops to close up blood vessels in my eyes, which i use to get rid of red eyes when i get all teary after looking at my reflection in the mirror, realising that one day i might not look this good anymore

Same here bro. Wellbutrin didn't work. Lexapro is a refined version of Celexa.

Wellbutrin totally increased my anxiety. I was on that and xanax at one point. I'd curl up in the doorway of my bedroom and shake for hours and hours. They wanted to treat me for bipolar a few years ago and tried to get me to take lithium but I was having no part of that.

I went totally off meds from summer 02 through this past march.

I still get depressed easy, I just never seem to be happy enough, I don't feel bad for me, but it hurts the people I love

Yes! Wellbutrin made me worse also. My doctors wanted to give me lithium also. I didn't do it. I went off meds for a while and my condition came back.

There are different kinds of antidepressants too. Some of them like wellbutrin are more upper and are good for some people. A coworker of mine has the kind of depression where she can't even get out of bed. It works well for her.

But for someone who has more anxiety/panic disorder than depression it's not a fun mix.

It's hard to explain. It varies from person to person. Makes you appear to be bland and boring. Quiets you down.

Concerta for ADD. I think now this may have been a misdiagnosis - but I keep my script filled because Concerta gives me a lot of energy and supresses my appetite somewhat.

Maybe I would benefit from lithium. I have no grey area. I'm either up or down. I have a little more grey area on what I'm on now though.

But lithium stops the manic part. I love that part. I'm a wild bundle of energy for stretches of time. I'm creative and productive and driven way more than usual. Lithium pretty much makes that stop but it makes the lows less low.

Right now on my meds I still get my highs but my thershold is a lot higher for meltdowns. That's good. I'm more able to detatch from icky emotional stuff and look at it almost from the outside.
