what makes people lazy?

I just wonder why some people are so motivated and do so many things, while others like me just can't seem to get going. I'm not lazy when it comes to working out, but I hate cleaning my car out- it looks like I live in it. My room looks like a tornado went through it- I'm just so laid back and don't like anything that causes me discomfort. I sleep on a bare mattress- doesn't bother me. Why i wonder. What makes us all so different? What causes a person to have no drive and live on the streets? I wonder about these kind of things.

I often suffer from "i'll do it later" attitude. That and I'm generally a lazy slob.

One thing that I 've found which really helps, is to surround yourself with very succesful people. Even if you don't have the drive to do everything they do, you'll still end up doing more than you would normally, just through association. Plus you learn a lot too.

All of the super-motivated people I know have one thing in common: they hate to lose. That doesn't mean they love to compete with other people (although they're not bothered by it), but rather they hate to miss the goals they set for themselves.

You sound like a married man.
