Yes but that may be more related to people going out more during summer months. More interaction between citizens inexplicably results in more criminal incidents.
But what about depression. Or changing moods due to dismal weather. The instigators behind incidents such as "man goes off deep end", "5 suicides this week". Incidents that are based upon a pre-defined mood or behavior, rather than a spur of the moment drunk fight at a bar.
I read some damning report last year by the canadian government declaring higher suicide rates in more colder, remote areas in Canada. As well as more propensity for alcoholism. I wish i still had the link.
