What is the best watch I can get?

I've looked at Cartier's, Movado's, Tag's, and Rolex's so far. I like the Movado's and Tag's the best. What do you guys suggest?

I got a blue rolex submariner with a two tone band. I love the watch and it has never given me a problem. I used to own a movado when I was younger. Also a good watch. If you get a movado, make sure to opt for one with a saphire crystal glass. This way the face of the watch is scratch proof. Not all movados come with this, but some do. At least that is the way it was a few years ago when I bought mine.

For the price, the movado is a good watch, but if you got the money, I would go with the rolex. You could get a brand new stainless steel datejust for around $2500. A stainless steel Air King will run you a few hundred less. If you want any gold, the price of the rolex's gets a lot higher because it is 18k. Movado's gold is generally just yellow stainless steel so they are about the same price as the all silver ones.

thanks for the info. Not really big on the Rolex style. I went to the Rolex website and really didn't see any Rolex's I liked. Also I'm only looking at stainless steel. No gold for me.

An air king stainless steel, black or blue face is a nice simple classic style watch. It also is relatively inexpensive for a rolex. Also there are a ton of older rolex's that look really great/ try to find some of the 60's era watches if you don't like the style of the air king.
