What is the best soup???

In keeping with the trend of asking stupid ass questions today, I pose this one: what is the best/your favorite soup?

I would have to say Lobster Bisque is my fav with N.E. Clam Chowda a close second

Best name would have to go to Italian Wedding
 
AVGOLEMONO - awsome.....otherwise known as Greek Lemon Chicken soup

although the Carribean Pumpkin-Black Bean soup I made last Thanksgiving may be even better.:
(Pumpkin puree, Black Bean puree, Coconut milk, Tomatoe puree, spices, and lime juice).
 
I had some great clam chowder in san fran. Just last night I had a spicy chicken soup that was downright incredible.
 
Potatoe soup. I could eat good potatoe soup every day. Not that canned crap, homemade stuff.
 
I'm not a big soup guy but I like broccoli cheese soup.
 
i love wild mushroom truffle bisque thats by far my fav, but it gives me horrific gas

depends on the mood. Lots of soups. hot, cold, clear, thick, smooth, etc. I love em all.

Hey poye, I once made a Smoked Pheasant Consomme for one of heads of Sony (he is now with dream works, you do the guess work.. LOL) and his wife for his going away party from Sony. Each bowl had 110 grams of Freshly sliced Perigord Truffles. Matt would like this: He got $250million for a going away present. Not bad for QUITING.

Did I hammer a bowl in their kitchen? I think the french term is 'Shit Yes!'

How about a recipe/food/wine & spirits/restaurant forum? Would anyone be into that?

holy shit, i can just imagine how that would taste, i think it would take me over an hour to eat it, just to savour in its exquisite flavor

That shit is great. Too bad I can't find it anywhere anymore. I think they may have stopped making it.
