"Riboxin is a product (nucleoside) of puryn. It may be considered as a predecessor of ATF. There are available data on the medicine ability to increase the activity of a number of Crebu's cycle ferments, stimulate the nucleotides synthesis, show the positive effect on metabolic processes in myocard and improve the coronar circulation. Riboxin is the ferment preparation improving the oxidizing-restoring processes in organism. Medicine is taken with ischeamic cardiac disease (chronic coronar insufficiency and myocardid infarct), miocardiodistrophia, rythm disorders because of cardiac glycosides application. It is also prescribed with liver diseases (hepatitis, cirhosis) and for treatment of urocoproporpher. Riboxin is taken in before the meal in day dose from 0,6 to 2,4 g. On the First days medicine is taken by 0,6-0,8 g daily (by 0,2 g three-four times a day), and with proper endurance dose is increased for 2-3 days upto 1,2 g a day (oy 0,4 g three times) and upto 2,4 g a day. Course of treatment lasts from 4 weeks to 1,5-3 months. With urocoproporpheria Riboxin is taken by 0,8 g (0,2 g four times) daily for 1-3 months."
