what is GH prescribed for?

just curious if the average joe can get GH prescribed to them? what about those anti-aging clinics? any chance that they prescribe GH to people that arent the elderly?

It's prescribed for children whose growth is stunted because of inadequate GH production; as anti-muscle-wasting for AIDS patients; and by those salon-type beauy spas in Beverly Hills and places like that for rich people who don't want to get old! I don't know how those places work, but they must charge a fortune for a visit, and then have a dr. write an Rx for it.

I've also heard of celebrities putting their kids on low doses of growth so that they'll be these superfreaks when they're older. Dunno if there's any truth to that...

Also if your an adult who is diagnosed with adult growth hormone deficancy. Many adults do without even knowing it. This population of people are way undertreated.
