What is a "siezure letter"?

Silly question - I know it means that your gear's been siezed, but does it mean any legal action will be taken against you, or just that they siezed your stuff? Seems silly just to sieze without legal action (which is some scary shit). Whats the details guys?

there isnt enough resources for them to go after every person in the US who ordered some primo for a bridge, so they seize it and as long as you dont claim it no legal action will be taken.
