What is a good, high %ABV stout?

I usually get a really good microbrew, slow-pour stout at a local place (7.1%), but I need something I can buy commercially and take home.

Sorry, but even Guinness's extra-stout doesn't have a high enough % alcohol by volume for my liking.

What good stuff is commercially available?

Sam Adam's has a decent cream stout beer as well.

This isn't a stout, but Samuel Smith's Winter Ale is high acv.....it should be out within the next month or so......it may be an ale, but it's not "light" by any means....goood stuff!!

go to the beer festival @ the Convention Center next week, im sure out of the 1700 beers you can find a few new ones to get the job done

Just add a shot of grain Alc to your beer glass and pour your favorite beer in on top
if the Alc % is the only thing you want to increase. Many high % beers aren't as smooth IMO as the moderate % brews for a number of reasons.

hmmm ... dumping grain alcohol into your fav beer shouldn't effect the taste
