if you were to go back in time and make atheists the majority and put them in the powerful positions of government since our governments inception, resulting in our money were to say "we trust in NO god" or "in NO god do we trust".. the christians would be crying bloody murder that it's against the constitution to do such a thing and at the very least would have it changed so that it made NO reference to atheistm or religion..

I think most contries have found a good mix of religious influence in Society and Goverment without it actually Impacting the Non God believing Minority. I understand the constitution is in place to protect the MINORITY and not to make rules for the Majority.

The Fed Appeals court judge in SF has re-thought his dicision and is realizing the overwealming majority including the ACLU think they made a bad constitutional decision.
Hence his freeze on enforcing the decision.

Im an agnostic btw.

With "in god we trust" on our cash, how does it hurt me? Not at all, i dont even read that shit. But, for a lot of people it probably gives them comfort. so let it be, because we lose nothing by having it.

it places me in a state of extreme discomfort and agitation..
