I have family there an aunt and an uncle, but i rarely speak with them anymore, but when my grandmother was alive i was there a lot as a kid.

pleasure, but it ends very soon... basically took the year off to travel to find a new place to live.

I have to agree here. I was in NO for Mardi Gras '99 for work. The traffic was so fucked up that I took three days off of work as I couldn't get anywhere in a decent amount of time.

Shit happens when 2 million extra people come to party...
