what happens when...

... a hypothetical guy lifts a few times a week. His maintance level of calories is 3,000 per day. He starts taking some juice but does not increase the calories. Doesn't change his workout routine.

Does:
a) Nothing Happen
b) He loses some fat
c) Gains muscle
d) Gains muscle, loses fat

I would place my bets on b.
 
Simply using steroids will not result in a noticable loss in fat. I know this from experience.

Some strength gain, maybe alittle muscle.

This also will vary slightly depending on what you were taking.
 
I recall reading some articles a while ago that gave a bunch of (probably untrained) guys steroids and let them sit on their asses for a month or so. They compared them against guys who were given a placebo and placed on a weight routine. The lazy guys got significantly more gains than the weight-training natural guys.

Anyways, that's what got me thinking about this.
